Longline guarantees that all Memory and SSD products are free of any material or design problems. Regarding material or design defect in the product under normal use, warranty, repair service or replacement with equivalent equipment for any part of the product will be provided if any workmanship defects are proven by Longline. Repaired or replaced part(s) under warranty will be treated as they are sold by Longline and have the same functionality as new products (Replacements may be refurbished products or may contain refurbished materials).
Warranty terms cover only the hardware itself. The software included in the product, including pre-installed content and contents stored by customers (video, photo and other data, etc.) are not covered by the warranty. Customers should make a backup before sending their defective product for repair. After the product is sent to the service, the data in it will be deleted.
1- The warranty period starts from the date of delivery.
2- The entire product, including all its parts, is covered by the Longline company warranty.
3- In case of malfunction of the product within the warranty period, the time spent in repair is added to the warranty period. The repair period of the product cannot exceed 20 working days. This period starts from the date of notification of the malfunction related to the product to the service station, in case there is no service station, to one of the seller, dealer, agency, representative, importer or manufacturer of the product.
It is possible for the customer to make a fault notification via telephone, fax, e-mail, registered letter with return receipt and similar ways. However, in case of dispute, the burden of proof belongs to the customer. If the malfunction of the product is not repaired within 10 working days, the manufacturer-producer or importer has to allocate another product with similar features for the use of the consumer until the repair of the product is completed.
4- In case of failure of the product due to material, workmanship and assembly errors within the warranty period, it will be repaired without any charge under the name of labor cost, replacement part price or any other name.
5- Although the consumer uses his/her right to repair; – in case of failure of the product at least four times within one year from the date of delivery to the consumer provided that it is within the specified warranty period, or in case of failure of the product more than six times within the warranty period determined by the manufacturer-producer and/or importer, besides in case that these malfunctions cause permanent not to benefit from the product,
– in case the maximum period required for the repair of the product is exceeded,
– in case it is determined that the fault is not repaired with the report to be prepared by the service station of the company, if the service station is not available, by one of the seller, dealer, agency, representative, importer or manufacturer-producer respectively, the consumer can request free replacement of the product, refund of product price or discount in proportion to the defect.
6-The malfunctions caused by the use of the product contrary to the matters stated in the user manual are not covered by the warranty.
7- For problems that may arise regarding the Warranty Certificate, the Ministry of Customs and Trade, General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance can be applied.
